Hello dear students! How are you?  Vamos seguir com o verbo “to be”, porém, na forma interrogativa. Lembrando que ele significa ser/estar. E é o contexto da frase que vai me dizer se ele está dizendo ser ou estar. Assim, vejam abaixo como fica a forma afirmativa e a forma Interrrogativa.

1. Change to the interrogative form. (Passe para a forma interrogativa)

a) You are a student.   Are you a student?

b) Paul is a doctor. _______________________________________________________________

c) Philip is my neighbor (vizinho). __________________________________________________

d) She is a good swimmer (bom nadador) _____________________________________________

e) John is a good athlete. __________________________________________________________

f) You are a good pianist (pianist). ___________________________________________________

g) This is an easy lesson (lição fácil) _________________________________________________

h) He is in the kitchen (cozinha). ____________________________________________________

i) She is thirsty (com sede) _________________________________________________________

j) You are my friend. ______________________________________________________________

2. Change to the affirmative form. (Passe para a forma positiva/afirmativa). Agora é o contrário da acima.

a) Is Alex drinking (tomando) water (água)? Alex is drinking water.

b) Is she in a hurry?(com pressa). She is in a hurry.

c)  Is it raining? (chovendo) _____________________________________________________________

d) Is he in the living room (sala de estar)? __________________________________________________

e) Are we tired (cansado) today (hoje)? ____________________________________________________

f) Is Mr. Carter the president of the club.  __________________________________________________

g) Are they American actors (atores)? _____________________________________________________

h) Is it an apple. ______________________________________________________________________
